Use of the quintadesilvalde.pt website is governed by these Terms and Conditions, in association with any specific terms stipulated on the individual pages of the sites in question. If you do not agree to them, please do not use this website.
Reception
Check-in: from 15:00
Check-out: until 12:00
Early check-in requires prior consultation with the hotel, as it may be necessary to check availability.
Late check-out is possible, depending on availability and prior request to the Hotel Reception, the day before departure. There may be an associated extra charge, depending on the time of departure.
Check-In
Check-in will only be carried out with the reservation holder, who will have in their possession all the passports and/or identification documents of the guests on the reservation.
Please note that containment measures are in place at the reception desk.
In accordance with Portuguese Law, it is absolutely necessary for all occupants of the accommodation (adults, children and babies) to present an official identification document (Passport, Citizen Card/Identity Card) at check-in.
In the absence of such a document, check-in cannot take place, although the cancellation policy inherent to the reservation will apply.
Pets
Quinta de Silvalde is a pet-friendly establishment. Pets are allowed in all common areas, with the use of a leash. Only the Villas and Casa do Loureiro are prepared to receive pets.
Parking
Quinta de Silvalde has a free parking lot with surveillance, available 24 hours a day.
Smoking
Smoking is only allowed in outdoor spaces at Quinta de Silvalde. In the rooms and villas, smoking is only allowed on the balconies/patios.
Online payments
All credit and debit card transactions are charged at the point of purchase.
Please note that your credit card will be charged directly at the time of the transaction.
Payment can be made via our secure check out pages using your credit or debit card. Your card will be charged when you place your order and receive confirmation.
Payments
If you have made an advance payment by credit card to guarantee your reservation, it is strictly necessary for the cardholder to present this card at check-in.
If this card is not presented at check-in, a new payment must be made (credit/debit card or cash), and the amount previously charged to the card will be canceled.
If you wish to add the NIF/NIPC to the invoice resulting from the advance payment, you must inform us at the time of booking.
Payment Policies
Non-refundable rate
Please note that full payment is required at the time of booking, either by bank transfer or by debiting the credit card provided in the online booking system.
Flexible Rate
Full payment upon check-in, please note that a credit or debit card is required to guarantee the reservation.
Cancellation Policies
Quinta de Silvalde reserves the right to charge 100% of the total stay for cancellations made 1 day or less before arrival.
Non-attendance
In the event of no-show by the guest(s), or cancellation of the reservation on the scheduled day of arrival, Quinta de Silvalde reserves the right to charge 100% of the total amount of the stay.
Early Exit
Quinta de Silvalde reserves the right to charge 100% of the remaining period booked.
Cleaning Services
Rooms are cleaned daily. Towels and bed linen are changed every 3 days.
Dress Code
There is a dress code in practice in the public areas of the hotel, which will be checked and remembered, especially in the restaurant and bar areas.
Online Occupancy/Reservations
If the Online Booking system - quintadesilvalde.pt - is used, the terms and conditions relating to availability, prices and cancellations apply to each room price indicated, and the user should carefully read the details provided relating to the rate charged before completing the booking process.
Any special needs must be communicated at the time of booking and are not guaranteed to be met.
"Prices From"
The prices referred to as "Prices From" in the hotel presentation listings are considered to be the lowest base price available, per night, per person until the end of the current calendar year, and there is therefore no guarantee that this price will be available whenever a search is made on our booking system (prices vary depending on the date of the search).
As these prices are already the lowest available, which may or may not include promotional campaigns, no additional discounts can be applied.
Overall
You may not assign, sublicense or otherwise transfer any of your rights under these Terms and Conditions.
Should any provision contained in these Terms and Conditions be declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of that provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions included in these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
The failure of either party to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or remedy.
Use of the website
Use of the site requires the user to be of legal age (at least 18 years old) and to be able to enter into binding contracts. The user will be financially responsible for any use of the site made by him/herself.
The user may only use the site to make legitimate reservations or purchases and guarantees that all personal information provided during the reservation and service registration process is correct. We reserve the right, at any time and without prior notice, to prevent or limit user access to all or certain parts of the site.
Website Availability
The site may not be permanently accessible due to maintenance or repair operations, or due to computer problems or failures, Internet service failures or other unforeseen circumstances.

Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Portuguese Law.
Both parties agree, in the exclusive interest of quintadesilvalde.pt, to elect the Portuguese courts as the competent and exclusive forum to judge and decide any lawsuits, actions or judicial measures that may arise or result from this contract.
Unless it has been agreed that in this clause of the election of the competent forum in the exclusive interest of quintadesilvalde.pt reserves the right to file lawsuits against the user in Courts of competent jurisdiction in any other country.
